(1) BRIAN: Jane has a top ten list of people she would smack around if she got the chance. She calls it her justice list. (2) ALEX: That doesn't surprise me. BRIAN: I'm not surprised she has a list, but I'm surprised by who's on it. (3) ALEX: Where am I on her justice list? BRIAN: That's just it. You weren't on it. (4) ALEX: Really? After all the times she's yelled at me? I'm not sure whether to be flattered or insulted.

I know some people are down because they don't have someone special to celebrate Valentine's Day with. If you're one of those people, I have two things to say to you:

1) Take comfort in the fact that whether or not you have a partner has absolutely nothing to do with your worth as a person. There are some horrible married people in the world. There are some magnificent single people in the world. The universe is just weird like that.

2) Take comfort in the fact that you're probably not on Jane's justice list. (Only 10 people in the whole world are on it. Your odds are pretty good!)
